Thank you for trusting me with your information. This policy explains what I collect when you visit nuchristianist.com, send me a message, or work with me as a coaching client, and how I use and protect it.
In this policy, "The NuChristianist," "I," "me" and "my" mean {{LLC_LEGAL_NAME}}, a {{STATE}} limited liability company. I'm Danielle, the certified health coach and personal trainer behind it. "You" means anyone who visits this site or works with me.
The short version
- I collect only what you choose to share with me and what this website needs to run.
- I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it for targeted advertising.
- This website doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
- Stripe handles every payment. I never see or store your full card number.
- You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.
What I collect
When you send me a message. The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number and message. Please don't put medical details in the form. If we decide to work together, we'll talk about your health privately.
When you buy a coaching plan. You check out on a secure payment page run by Stripe, my payment processor. Stripe collects your card details and billing information. Stripe then shares with me your name, email address, the plan you bought, and limited payment details, such as the type of card and its last four digits.
When you become a coaching client. To coach you well, I ask about your goals, health history, current habits, what and how you eat, food allergies and preferences, and how active you are. If you choose, you may also share measurements like your weight. If you'd like faith to be part of our work, you may share about your faith life too. I also keep notes from our sessions, the messages we send each other by email, text or WhatsApp, and any photos you choose to send, such as of your meals or workouts. You decide what to share, and I'll only ask for what helps me coach you. Before we begin, I'll ask for your consent to use the health and faith information you share.
Automatically, when you visit. Like every website, this site receives basic technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the time. My hosting provider, Vercel, uses this information to deliver the site and keep it secure. The contact form uses your IP address for a short time to block spam.
What I don't collect. This site doesn't use analytics tools, advertising pixels or cookies that track you. My hosting provider may use strictly necessary tools, which can include a cookie, to protect the site from bots and attacks. I don't buy information about you from anyone.
How I use your information
I use your information to:
- reply to your messages and questions;
- schedule and deliver your coaching sessions, plans and support;
- take payments, send receipts and handle refunds;
- keep the records the law requires, such as tax and payment records; and
- keep this website secure and prevent spam and fraud.
I use what you tell me about your health, your body and your faith to coach you. I never use it for advertising, and I never sell it.
I don't use your information to make automated decisions about you, and I don't collect, use or sell personal information to train AI language models.
Who I share it with
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for targeted advertising. I share it only in these situations.

When you ask me to. For example, if you ask me to coordinate with your doctor or dietitian.
When the law requires it, or in an emergency. For example, to respond to a valid court order, or if I believe someone's life or safety is in immediate danger.
If my business changes hands. If I sell or reorganize my business, your information may move to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.
Links, checkout and affiliate links
This site links to other websites, such as Stripe's checkout page, my social media accounts, and stores on my Favorites page. When you leave my site, the other website's privacy policy applies. For example, Stripe collects information at checkout to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Some of my links are affiliate links, as my Affiliate Disclosure explains. When you click one, the store and its affiliate network may place or read cookies on your browser to record that you came from my site, so I can earn a commission if you buy. They may also collect information directly from you on their own websites.
Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on visitors' browsers. To learn how Amazon uses this information, see the Amazon.com Privacy Notice.
Do Not Track and tracking across websites
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site doesn't track you across other websites, so there's nothing for the signal to turn off. The stores and affiliate networks I link to may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites, as their own privacy policies describe.
How I protect your information
I use reasonable safeguards. These include secure connections (HTTPS), password-protected business accounts with two-step sign-in, and limiting who can see your information. No website or app is perfectly secure, so I can't promise absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, I'll notify you as the law requires.
Your health information and HIPAA
HIPAA, the federal health privacy law, applies to health plans and to doctors and other providers who bill insurance electronically. My coaching business isn't covered by HIPAA. I still treat your health information as private, as this policy describes. If you live in Washington or Nevada, my Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains your additional rights.
How long I keep it
- Messages from people who don't become clients: up to {{CONTACT_RETENTION}}, then I delete them.
- Client records (intake forms, notes, plans and messages): for as long as we work together and {{CLIENT_RECORD_RETENTION}} afterward, then I delete them.
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
You can ask me to delete your information sooner. I'll do so unless the law requires me to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you whether I have personal information about you, and send you a copy in a format you can take elsewhere;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your information; or
- withdraw your consent to my using your health or faith information, or anything else you agreed to earlier. I'll stop within 15 days. If I can't keep coaching you without that information, I'll refund you as my Terms of Sale describe.
Email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} and I'll respond within 45 days. I may ask you to confirm your identity first. If I can't do everything you ask, for example because the law requires me to keep a payment record, I'll explain why. If you disagree with my answer, reply and ask me to reconsider, and I'll respond within 45 days.
Emails. I'll send you newsletters or marketing emails only if you sign up for them, and each one will include a way to unsubscribe.
Texts. If you give me your phone number, I'll use it only to reply to you and to coordinate your coaching. I won't send you marketing texts unless you sign up for them.
Nevada residents. I don't sell personal information. You can still send a request not to sell yours to {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.
Children
This website and my coaching are for adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.
Where I work
I'm based in the United States, and my coaching is for adults who live in the United States. Some of my service providers may store information in other countries.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, I'll also post a notice on this website and email my current clients. I won't use information I've already collected in a significantly different way without your consent.
